Uses of Laser in Dentistry :

- Laser for depigmentation of gum (gingiva) – Hyperpigmentation of the gingiva is caused by Excessive melanin deposition .laser depigmentation removes top layer of gum tissue, destroying cells that produce melanin. AS new tissue is created during healing , it tends to be pink in color rather than brown.
